Who We Are
The Mineral Point Rescue Squad (MPRS) is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) membership organization, active since 1986. MPRS is a blended service with both volunteer and paid positions which operates as an Advanced EMT service. We provide pre-hospital emergency medical care to the residents and visitors of the City of Mineral Point and the Towns of Mineral Point, Linden, Waldwick, and Willow Springs. Mineral Point has two ambulances available 24/7/365 days of the year. Mineral Point EMS is overseen by Doctor Joseph Hansen M.D. who is a practicing emergency medicine physician at Upland Hills Health Emergency Room.

Mineral Point Rescue Squad (MPRS) provides the highest quality of pre-hospital emergency medical service to all the citizens and visitors of the communities we serve. Each member is dedicated to the ever-changing field of Emergency Medical Services and works to continuously strengthen their skills through continuing education, in-house training and seminars. We do so with care, professionalism, and confidentiality.
